By the Numbers - How Did Students Stack Up in 2018-19?

Harambee students demonstrated solid growth and achievement again in 2018-2019 as demonstrated by their performance on the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment.

The test shows both how much students have grown over time in each subject, as well as how students achieve relative to their grade level peers around the country.

In 2018-2019, Harambee students averaged 1.4 years of growth in Reading and 1.3 years of growth in Math from Fall to Spring. They also tested far above the national average (50th percentile) in both Reading (71st percentile) and Math (63rd percentile).

Most impressively, the graduating eighth grade class tested in the 88th percentile in Reading and the 97th percentile in Math. The math achievement, in particular, is astounding.

Please join us in congratulations to the staff and students! And praise God for his work in the lives of the students!

Highlighted students surpassed growth goals!
