2010 was a dynamic and transformative year at Urban Concern. We welcomed our first class of 6th graders to Harambee Christian School, expanded our long-running After School Program, added three new staff members, and launched an initiative to pair each and every student with their own mentor. 2010 also saw the remarkable generosity of numerous individuals and foundations advance Urban Concern’s mission of empowering students and families to be agents of positive change in South Linden and the world.
We are pleased to share our 2010 Annual Report, which highlights all of the above, as well as outlines the road ahead. We are more excited than ever to bring change to our community and are humbled and grateful for your continued partnership.
